The key team members of the Fish Creek 24 Hour Pet Hospital are the four veterinarians; however, there are numerous other team players necessary for the success of any practice. Check back to meet our technicians and other support staff.
Dr. Natasha Mutlow has been practicing both emergency and routine medicine and surgery since 2002. Natasha's main interests lie in internal medicine and critical care. She was recently married which meant the addition of a 'step cat' to her existing pets - two Boston Terriers and miscellaneous dressage and jumping horses.
Dr. Mark Norman has been practicing veterinary medicine and emergency surgery and medicine for since 1999. Mark currently lives in Chestermere and has 2 cats and 3 Bernese Mountain dogs.
Dr. Katie Van Sluys has also been practicing since 1999. She completed further training after veterinary school in the form of a small animal internship. She and her husband then moved to Virginia where she worked at an emergency clinic for several years. After moving home to Calgary in 2003, Katie continued to work as the overnight veterinarian at a local 24 hour clinic. Katie's husband, Jayson, is also a veterinarian and also works part-time at the clinic. Their have a cat and 2 Jack Russell Terriers. They recently had their first child.
Dr Catherine Pampiglione - Catherine provides Veterinary Chiropractic and Physical Therapy for orthopedic/neurologic compromised pets. She did intensive training in Germany at the Veterinary Center for Physical Therapy (2002) and she graduated in Veterinary Chiropractic in USA (2003). Catherine is both a DVM and a certified animal Chiropractor.
Dr Sheri Clarkson - Sheri graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. After completion of her veterinary degree she went to Tuft University, Foster Hospital for Small Animals, in North Grafton, Mass. to pursue an internship in Emergency Critical Care and Anesthesia. From 1997 through to 2000, Sheri was at the Michigan State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital completing a Small Animal Internal Medicine residency. Dr. Stephanie Ball - completed her BSc in Biology from the University of Regina in 1996 and continued on to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2000. Small animal medicine has always been her passion and through more recent years she has developed an interest in canine reproduction. Dr. Ball is currently an owner of the Southpointe Pet Hospital and the Fish Creek 24hr Pet Hospital dividing her time between the two clinics. Her outside interests include playing in a local water polo league with an annual sunny trip to California for competition. As well she tries to stay active through the year with a local group Soldiers of Fitness. Any spare time is spent with her boyfriend and their furry family of three Bernese Mountain Dogs – Magnum, Argus and Canyon and one lone cat, Goose.
